As MUJI Canada’s third lower mainland store, the Richmond Centre custom fit-out meant taking the existing tenant space back to the studs before completing a full tenant improvement in an operational facility. Design minded and quality-centric, this 6,400 square foot retail space features open ceilings with exposed mechanical and electrical, exposed concrete flooring and over 380 lights across 8 types of fixtures which required a lighting consultant to align and aim them to MUJI’s merchandising standards. 

Working with a milestone-driven schedule that incorporated coordination of internationally-sourced finishings and install work, handing over the keys two days ahead of schedule was simply icing on the cake for this efficient, effective and fun project with an amazing repeat client.
