Located along Esplanade Avenue in North Vancouver, the name of this brewery is aptly depicted in the colourful design and unique brettanomyces-fermented ales created by Brewmaster Darren Hollett. The 1,000 SF tasting room consists of an open lounge style environment overlooking the North Shore harbor. Wood, stone, beer aging barrels and an incredible floor to ceiling mural created by Montreal artist Dodo Ose are featured in this space. The Brewhouse design is functional and sleek with a combination of foeders and stainless steel tanks to allow for a wide variety of brewing methods. There were considerable design changes that occurred in this space, but in the end the client achieved not only a great space to brew beer, but also roast coffee beans for an added incentive to the public for earlier visits. The client on this project was involved every step of the way and he helped facilitate construction works with open and honest communication. It is a pleasure working with a client that is excited to be creating a space from beginning to end.

The external trade companies ETRO brought in were also of the highest caliber and in speaking with these companies, they were excited to be working with ETRO as well. Our brewery and taproom have received so much praise from customers and industry members for its thoughtfully laid out design and uniqueness – which we credit ETRO with happily whenever it comes up.
