Giving Back
We see a greater opportunity to impact the world beyond our projects. ETRO is proud to work in partnership with the BC Children’s Hospital to elevate their work in the world:
ETRO is a proud supporter of BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) Foundation through the Building for Kids Signage program along with other fundraising efforts throughout the year. The placement of a sign at many of our sites showcases this support and a commitment to the ongoing health and wellness of children in British Columbia. We will team up with trade partners and clients to raise money for BCCH with every project we build; these partnerships in fundraising allow us to create the biggest impact possible for the foundation.
Principal Mike Maierle also contributes his time and expertise to the ongoing fundraising initiatives of BCCHF through his active participation as Chair of the Real Estate, Construction, and Development Committee.
ETRO Gives
At the beginning of 2021, we launched ETRO Gives! A program giving team members the opportunity to support and donate to selected charities through an automatic payroll deduction. Watch this video to see what we accomplished during our first year of ETRO Gives:
BC Children’s Hospital is the province’s only full-service, pediatric acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. Funds raised by and donated to the foundation are used to support BC Children’s Hospital, Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children and the Child and Family Research Institute.
