ETRO was awarded the contract for the 44,000 square foot addition to the existing UBC Beaty Biodivesity Centre. Our goal is to create an efficient, creative space that will help to attract visitors. Construction began in spring of 2023, and this project is intended to expand the research centre, as well as significantly increase museum storage which will enable the Centre to qualify as an official BC fossil repository. It was also designed to achieve LEED Gold Certification, which aims to reduce environmental stress.

This is ETRO’s 8th project with UBC, a testament to our goal of forming loyal, long-term partnerships with repeat clients.
